I'm alive!

 Dear universe,

Just an update that i am still alive, actually. LOL.

Im not sure when was the last i was on this blog, but here am i today. Rummaging my old blog.

Kind of spooky..spooky Halloweeny blog.  Even scarier actually. LOL

So, ho'w things going on, people?

i know, this is 2023..and even ending in less than 60 days.

We're heading towards 2024, guys.

Gotta come out with my new year 2024 resolutions.

Hectic Days

Never was, never will be, never my intention to left my blog untouched for weeks but i was really notin situation to blog. I was so occupied with that new for-rent house thingy that i forgot i have a blog to update (i suppose). By the way, i thank God that we have found a tenant for our new condo in Batu Caves. So, less the headache.

I just now need to concentrate doing some make over for my current house- massive cleaning (oh my window grill! how dirty you are). I am a (proudly) stay at home mother with a going-to-be-one-year-old son. No maid. So those stay at home mothers, you know what that means. All by yourself. The best thing is my husband just ring me up asking when he suppose to apply leave because he have to use up this annual leave before March 29th which is next week. I was like...hmm..It's part of SAHM job too..LOL. So i said   " Just apply leave on the 29th lah..," Habis cerita kan.

Now please excuse me..i have pile of housework to do before our little JM wake up to turn this wrecked-ship house look alike even messier.

Oh yess..on Sale. I am not sure about other place but AEON Big (formerly known as Carrefour) Wangsa Maju is having sale for it till 14th March 2013. Mommy & daddy..you may want to borong few boxes for your loved ones if they are on these milk. It's only RM25.90 instead of RM30.90.  We've got our little JM's milk yesterday. 8 boxes of Sustagen Junior 1+'s Delicious Chocolate. Should be enough for a month or two.

Recipe: Nasi Dhal by Marina Mustafa

I am sharing these recipe which i found during my blogwalking. It's nasi Dhal recipe by Marina Mustafa. I will definately try this out very soon as i'm planning to finish all my dhal stock before i go for a long holiday during Christmas-New Year 2013.

Ingredients:~

• 3 cups Basmathi rice
• 3 ½ cups water
• 1 cup of water blended with 2 inches of ginger
• 1 ½ tsp salt
• ½ cup dhal beans, soaked for an hour
• 1 tbsp ghee
• 1 tbsp coconut oil
• 2 pieces screwpine leaves, tied into a knot
• 5 cloves
• 5 cardamoms
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 2 star anise
• ½ onion, sliced finely
• 5 garlic, sliced
• ½ cup evaporated milk, mixed with 1 tbsp lime juice

~Method~

1. Wash the rice and drain. Put it in the rice cooker with the dhal, water, ginger juice and salt.
2. In a small pan, heat the oil and ghee. Fry the screwpine leaves, then the spices. Put the onions and garlic in the oil and sautee.
3. When the onion softens, pour the oil mixture onto the rice in the rice cooker. Stir briefly to mix the flavors in.
4. Start the rice cooker.
5. When the rice cooks, pour the milk evenly on top of the rice.
6. Let it rest a while. Eat after it rests for 10 minutes.

The Flu, Cough & Fever Attack

Hi peeps..,

It's been quite long since my last post.

Been attacked by the flu , fever & cough..

So terrible. I hate the flu and the coughing part the most.

My ear clogged. My throat sore. Swallowing medicine is a must. How i hate it.
